OK, don't laugh but....WE HAVE SNOW!

I know that many of you are so ready for spring, and I guess I am too, and that you have had so much snow, even up to your mailboxes! But we finally have a taste of it here in the south!! So we've been cozied up by the fireplace today, enjoying the giant snowflakes falling and cooking a big pot of chili.....now we're waiting to hear about school tomorrow! I hope you're all cozy and warm sweet friends ~ xxoo, Dawn

There is nothing like a good snowfall to turn a dull brown winter scene into a beautiful white wonderland. It looks gorgeous! Enjoy it while it lasts!

Are you far from Bremen, GA?

I can't help but marvel that they may close your schools over what us folks up north would call, a "dusting"! LOL

Enjoy...a fire and a pot of chili sounds good up our way, too. It is COLD!

Unfortunately, we're doing the same thing. We're getting hammered. I've wanted snow all winter until we had almost 70 degree weather on Friday. Now, I'm ready for spring, and we're not exactly getting it!

Looks and sounds as if you had a very cozy day...would you just hold onto that snow system? Please? (Wouldn't that be fun if the kids got a snow day outta this? ha!)

lol!!! Sorry but I have to laugh, and agree with Sue (above). I'm in Utah, and that is considered a mere 'dusting' here. But, enjoy it anyway, and stay warm!

Are you sure your not in Idaho? It really has been a strange winter here. We had snow last week, it melted fast but what can I say...we are cold and I love having a fire in ye Ole wood burner. I open the doors and put up the screen, a good time for art.
Stay warm, it is still winter. Although I think I saw color in the garden today. I didn't want to go out in my night gown.

Hi Dawn
What a co-incidence you were visiting my blog whilst I was on yours!
The snow and trees look so magical, it is something we don't get to see here....but we are extremely excited at the moment, we have rain!!!

I love snow! I always feel so bad for those that never get to experience it. I love the pictures, especially that last one. You could do some really great things with it in Photoshop!
