Let's see if this works....

I found this wonderful bird mold on ebay. It's really designed to make ceramic pieces but I wanted it for something else as I don't make ceramics or have a kiln. I wanted to try pressing paper clay into each side, join the two pieces and have a beautiful little bird ornament....here's my first attempt! We'll see how he dries....I love his chubbiness ~

I'm still fluffing ~ now that the bathroom is completely painted and cured, I've been on the search for a beautiful shower curtain but still haven't found the right one. I know I could sew one but just don't want to really....right now, I have cream walls, chocolate colored towels and rug....

I hope your week is going great and all of your Thanksgiving preparations are coming together!!
Wishing you a great Tuesday sweet friends,
hugs and love,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,
Love your adorable little bird. You never cease to amaze me! Have fun hunting for a shower curtain. I have one that I picked up at the Goodwill with chocolate leaves, birds and then some aqua on white I think. I haven't used it for anything yet , but couldn't pass it up.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings~

Dawn, the bird looks darling - you are so clever! Thanks for these beautiful images too, as well as those the past few days. You are so generous.

Have you looked at sheets for the shower curtain? I've made several from sheets - all you need is the holes but you could use clips to get you through this week & then make the buttonholes later - if you found a sheet that you liked, that is :)

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and all your family!

Love the bird mold. I found a chocolate duck mold at an antique sale, but hadn't thought of using for other things beside chocolate. Now you have my mind going.

Your chubby birdie is precious. Let us know how she dries. Does she stay the same shape? It looks like china or you have a very goooood camera...lol
I also appreciate the botanticals.
